looking good cant wait to see it running, are you using aluminium or is it steel?

[edit] dont forget to put "Nothing runs like a Deere!"

was just wondering are those motors direct drive and you just glue the wheel to the motor shaft? if so where do you get them from?

trucker n
11-29-2010, 10:56 PM
the motors are gear reduction motors i get from ebay and robot market place sells a hub that goes from the mtor to the wheel and it bolts to the wheel and this is mostly aluminum with some steel for weight:)

trucker n
12-08-2010, 07:24 PM
small update got the hubs in for the wheels got them mounted waiting for another tire put a load on to check it out

well the fowarder is almost done now to start on a skidder just not sure if to do a grapple or cable skidder what do you guys think just not sure if i want the exspense of hydraliks this time

Snochaser
02-01-2011, 10:33 AM
I would go with a grapple, if you do cable then you will have to manually hook up your logs by hand, otherwise you can just do it while sitting back with the grapple. I'm sure someone here has another solution for hydraulics they would assist you with.

Ben
