Hey ya'll
Been working on converting a 1/16 Ertl john Deere to RC. I don't have many pictures yet, haven't done much other than figuring.
This is taking way to many brain cells, as I'm working with what I have on hand, and from what I can find, the first non articulating 4x4 RC tractor. That and I want a realistic 3 point and a functioning PTO. Do to the LOVELY cast iron production methods, I'm cutting a steel frame/rear end to increase ease(I hope) and room.
Anyways, Here's a few pictures:
basic idea, only 4x4:

Converted front wheel next to stock:

Had to cut the cab off because it was bent beyond repair:

Stay tuned,

Got the front tires mounted on the axle (Losi MRC) seems my design will hold up pretty well. The new axle is about an inch wider than stock, but I think that as long as the rear is the same or wider it will look fine.
