We are preparing for RCX again. This will be a GREAT EVENT!!

The show will be:
Saturday, May 16 10am - 5pm
Sunday, May 17 10am - 4pm

SETUP (POSSIBLY) STARTING ON THURSDAY, MAY 14 & FRIDAY, MAY 15.

As some of you may have heard, Forrest Melton & Event Werks is no longer associated with the RCX show, but the show will go on and in much the same manner. I am working with the new event coordinators and am looking to book our event as usual . They are to let me know more as we get closer to show-time and I will edit and update this thread.

I have already been informed that we are 99% assured to be once again team with Traxxas for the use of their tractor-trailer as a backdrop to our space. It's in the works to get us at least a 25'x60' space (hopefully).

Looking forward to some fun RC Trucking as usual!

I plan on coming and being there Thursday afternoon to help set up. I hope to bring 2 tractors and 3 trailers, depends on what gets done by then. This will be my first time at a show and am looking forward to meeting fellow mini-truckers.

I'll be there too...
I will bring the roadway and some other ground support items.
I will also bring down 4 or 5 trucks. I hope to have a Grand Hauler by then.

The excitement is building with RCX just over 60 days away. It's that time of year again to start planning what trucks and trailers you'd like to show off, what heavy equipment you need to bring for the job, and anything else you can thing of that can contribute to making our scale city a success. Everyone that attended the show last year seemed to enjoy looking at our layout and most had positive comments about how wonderful it looked and several of you joined. We want to thank you for your interest in the hobby.

The West Coast Mini Truckers have a space reserved at RCX, it is confirmed. We will have at least 30'x60' if not larger and are still planning to be next to Traxxas once again. The event planner is going to see if we can't get the entire 70' length beside the truck and perhaps some additional space.

Please let me know that you are planning to attend and what equipment you're bringing. This looks like it's going to be another great show and we're all looking forward to it... you won't want to miss it!

Please contact me by Sunday, March 29. It will allow me to have a general member count of who plans on coming as well as how many and of what type trucks/tractors we'll have at the show. This will give me better information to pass on to the event coordinator.

:bounce: OK everyone, we're only a month away from RCX. Remember to mark it on your calendar! :bounce:

I've gotten confirmation that everything will pretty much be the same as last year for us. We will have electricity for the booth, however we need to provide any chairs, tables, etc. that we want or need at the event. Please consider this when packing for the show.

Traxxas is going to be in the same place and is going to allow us to use their overhead trailer spotlights to help illuminate our area again, as well as provide us with the awesome backdrop of their tractor-trailer.

Just another reminder, RCX 2016 is March 12-13 at the orange county fairgrounds. (Southern California)
I will be there with 5 Tamiya rigs plus others.
