Re: Skeeters contracting services
An unboxing video of G.T.Power MFU system. These are available for around $62.oo on evilbay. FAR cheaper than the Tamiya MFU! For the price I decided I could afford to try it out.

Re: Skeeters contracting services
Yeah, it does look like the mack drivers keeping the trans in the basement. Atleast it's not a sports dumptruck that has no slow control.
Wow the gt system takes up some room. |
Re: Skeeters contracting services
Yes sir, the G.T.Power MFU do require some room. It would NEVER fit in a daycab! I'm real excited to get er installed, & see how well these units work.
I really like that lil Mack truck. I'll like the next one even better. I'll be doing a Super Dump on a Tamiya chassis, with an identical Mack cab. I've been far more places in Mack trucks WITHOUT getting hung up that in any other truck. I've driven far more trucks that WEREN'T Macks, than the 3 Mack's I've previously had as a daily truck. |
Re: Skeeters contracting services
The 4200XL diggin virgin ground in RCland. The previoes time I used er, dropped it while storing it. The boom was stored in the same manner it would be if she was being hauled on a lowbed trailer. Due to that she landed just right on the bucket curl cylinder that it sprung a leak when I applied hydraulic pressure to make the bucket curl. Sorry it's a short video because of that!

Re: Skeeters contracting services
Some recent pics of the Weyerhaeuser loggin truck. Eventually this will lose this style of trailer, & have a trailer similar to the one that TnTLou has behind his logging truck. For now, it functions as is.

Some may have noticed that my pictures & recent videos have logo's on them. I'm proud to announce that I've a small sponsorship from RC Mart, thus the reason for logo's everywhere now. I'm still the same simple Polish Hillbilly Redneck RC crazy nut I once was.

Re: Skeeters contracting services
Recently my first sponsor package arrived me. Here are some pics of it in use.
I needed a metal 5th wheel hitch for pulling the water trailer in RCland, so I got a Hercules metal 5th wheel. Also I thought that the tractor was a little too fast, so I got a Hercules 2 to one gear reduction transfer case to go on the truck. While doing all that, I thought I'd try out some new shoes on the truck. All this is in preparation for the upcoming PNWSTE club gathering on Sunday July 15th. ANYONE in the Pacific Northwest area, that's interested in attending is welcome. The event will be held in Kent Washington from 9am to around 2PM (OR whenever people get tired & go home). https://farm1.staticflickr.com/846/2...e66ee090_z.jpg2018-07-06-01-24-11 by Anthony Kalnoski, on Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/842/4...86af7695_z.jpgIMG_0493 by Anthony Kalnoski, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1768/...b5a52fec_z.jpgIMG_0497 by Anthony Kalnoski, on Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/922/2...21ff1d31_z.jpgIMG_0516 by Anthony Kalnoski, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1826/...4d9fa94c_z.jpgIMG_0498 by Anthony Kalnoski, on Flickr |

Hey Skeeter!!!
PNWST meet looks like fun! I can't wait to see the rest of like that truck build! Jon in Vt. The Northern Rednecker |
Re: Skeeters contracting services
Sorry, I boogered the groups name in my original post. It SUPPOSED to have been PNWSTE, but my fat short, stubby lil fingers somehow forgot to add the "E" to the end of it
That build is done. That's the Weyerhaeuser logging truck. I FINALLY got around to doing some much needed upgrades to er. PNWSTE meets are great fun. Even when they are hosted at places other than my backyard. It's always great fun to see other people's equipment, & truck hard at work. |
Re: Skeeters contracting services
Road construction PNWSTE style! The toe of the slope for a road in RCland needed repaired. PNWSTE came to the rescue to get the job done.

The PNWSTE meet looks great. The road rebuild looks fun too. I guess I haven't seen the Weyerhauser log truck build yet! Jon in Vt. The Northern Rednecker |
Re: Skeeters contracting services
That was a used truck I bought from a member here. It was already yellow. I added the green paint scheme to er, & a few mods. Somewhere in this thread is the pics of er, a few pages back.

Re: Skeeters contracting services
My buddies shure were a BIG part of that project! Raph spent a vast portion of that meet loading material with his RC4WD 4200XL, into his side dump & dumping it over that edge. Steven, & Chris were big players in that project too. I try to keep my vids around 2ish minutes in length. There are others that helped with it, but I'd have a20-30 minute video. Rather than a long vieo like that, I prefer to edit em down, & post a few smaller vids.
I know me personally I can't watch a video for more than 3-4 minutes before I have to start skipping forward. |

RCland now has 3 grizzlies for the mining operation. It ALL started with the yellow grizz that has openings of 3/8 inches. Then the Orange one came along with openings of 1/2 inch, & the John Deer green one rounds it out with openings of 1/4 inches between the grizz bars
