I for the older videos used a Cannon Power Shot ELPH180
For the newer vids I use a Sony HandyCam.

I think I may have figured out the picture window issue. I have a few of the new vids that are in the tiny window format to get through first, as well as a few older videos. Once they are all posted, I'm optimistic that the picture windows will be full size.

Yes sir, very busy.

This lil project that just came out of the shop. This took a few weeks to build in my spare time. We needed a sheepsfoot, or other roller/compactor to help with all the new roads we've been building in RCland. It weighed almost 28# without the axle, drawbar, or 2nd endcap welded on it. I didn't weigh it after it was finished, but I'm sure it is over 30#

I tested it with the wheeled loader, & it puled it around just fine, even in the grass. I DIDN'T think to get vids of the testing process. :(

With the warm & dry weather we've been having, I've been working a LOT. I haven't been on this forum in a while. I have a few projects that have left the shop to be put into use in RCland, as well as at the various events PNWSTE has traveled to this year. This is the latest to leave the shop. A set of log grapples for the wheeled loader!

I FINALLY got some video of the sheepsfoot doing it's thing in RCland this weekend. Hopefully I'll have time to get it edited, & can post it soon.

HAPPY belated 4th of JUlY to everyone. Here's a little video that we did over the long holiday weekend. We did some blasting at the PNWSTE sand & gravel mine, before heading to a fellow PNWSTE members house to do some work.

Log stacker attachment has impressive abilities.

The log trucks are sweet. I love remote the truck-stacking crane.

I was half expecting the explosives at the beginning to be chained together to drop a wall of dirt. Nice start of a fire pit

Thanks Frizzy for the kind words.

The explosives I wanted to fuse together, but I didn't have enough fuse to do so.

It was GREAT fun last weekend in Duncan B.C. Canada! It was a pleasure to meet, in no particular order, Lou, Kim Greg, Reg, Steamer (Having memory troubles with his name) & the guy with all the Bruder conversions. Mike I think his name was. I'm poor with remembering names. :(

Here's a little video footage of the FUN times that were had with these folks last weekend.

Wow, very cool show you guys were invited to!

I didn't know anyone had made an rc 'Yarder'. All the other equipment was great too

Re: Skeeters contracting services

Frizzy, it was a BLAST! I'm anxious for next years event. The weekend after the Duncan show, we went to the local ATHS show in Tacoma Washington, unannounced. The event coordinators loved it so much, they offered us a place at that show next year.

RcLogger made the Yarder. Between all the guys, they have some amazing RC equipment. It was a pleasure to see all the Canadian guys & their equipment first hand. I'd seen it in videos, but nothing compares to seeing it in person.

This weeks PNWSTE video is some footage from our March gathering. Hopefully the video quality is still as good, or better thatn the Canada video.

Some video from PNWSTE's September gathering. This is the FIRST 4K UHD video that we've shot. As I was editing the video, I DIDN'T notice a difference in video quality. It was ONLY after I posted the video to YT, & watched it at a friends house on his TV set that I was able to see the difference. Unfortunately, the weather here in Washington State won't be allowing us to film much if anymore this year. As soon as the weather allows us, we'll start filming in 4K UHD. I do have enough videos from this years events to continue to post weekly video updates..........................so long as the weather allows us to resume filming by mid March 2020!

Here's the link to the video.

LOL! I still haven't touched that truck. One of these days, it'll move up the priority list. Too many projects, too little time!

Frizzy, Thanks for inspiring this video! I seen where you made tiedown straps using only wire & ribbon. I tried your method, but I couldn't get the wire bent just right so that the straps held. After thinking a bit, & came up with a way to make straps that functioned for me.

Here's the biggest hit from 2019, the BLOOPERS footage from PNWSTE's events of the year. With a new job I have an even more chaotic work schedule than before, & only free time has been on the weekends. Between editing video, building my project truck for this years events, & trying to keep up with our clubs Facebook page, I haven't been on this forum much. There are a plethora of videos on my channel besides those posted here, I just wasn't able to post the links to them as they were published.

One more video, a fair honest, NON biased review of the mine haul truck sold on Ali Espress.com from the seller Emo, &/or Faroe. Both are teh same seller, have the same products, & identical pictures of products.

This is NOT the Volvo haul truck that is offered from them!

Here's a teaser video of a project that will soon be completed.

We used JMI airbags, & True Scale suspension parts to make this happen!
The tractor AND trailer will have fully functional air ride suspensions on them! This project took a LOT longer to complete that I estimated it would. We had a LOT of difficulty programming the Graupner radio system for it. So much difficulty, that the Graupner radio is sitting on the shelf in it's case, & a different radio was acquired to run this project! Here's the link to the teaser video

Some progress has been made on the tractor that'll pull the side dump trailer. We've got it running on it's own power, and the lighting & sound system have been installed in it.

Here's a video of the side dump trailer & tractor that we were working on. The truck & trailer have fully functional air ride suspensions. The trailer dump is operated by hydraulics. I still need to paint the truck to match the trailer, add a drop axle to the truck, & add the second exhaust stack.

Here's the latest video released from PNWSTE's gatherings. The PNW police cruiser makes it's video debut.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKZkuJqlTkY

The police car was a corded RC, that has been converted to be a REAL RC car! The original motors were used for the conversion, so it's NOT true hobby grade......YET. Perhaps one of these days I'll get my backlog of RC projects thinned down, & I'll work on making the car more hobby grade. In the mean time, it works alright for what we use it for. This video was filmed at our clubs last gathering of 2019, in October. There was only a small group that gathered for this event, as the weather forecast was predicting rain the afternoon/evening of the event. The weather held off, until 7 PM, then the skies opened up & let the torrential downpour begin.

Kinda hard to tell, was that a police Mustang?
I'm going to say it needs more flashy lights, but i'm not going to say why yet...

Heh, the rc backlog never really gets caught up does it?

skeeter 04-13-2020 07:36 PM

Re: Skeeters contracting service

The RC backlog really NEVER does end, & that's a GOOD thing! :D
Yeppes,It's the Boss 302 Mustang cruiser.
It most definitely needs more flashy lights! Perhaps one of these days I'll get around to installing more in it. For now it is functional, but not very bright lights.

I still need to get my pictured uploaded of the most recent completed projects. We converted a Bruder Mack earlier in this thread. I tried to keep it looking as much like a toy as I could. I recently seen a fellow club members Bruder that he transplanted onto a Tamiya frame. I LOVED how he done it, & asked him if he'd help me with mine. He did the difficult part, & I added the finishing details to the project. We've also completed a New Ray forklift conversion. There's a LOT planned, but so little time to get it all finished right now.

skeeter 05-26-2020 12:22 AM

Re: Skeeters contracting services

Here's the ONLY photo I can find at this moment, of the converted Bruder Mack. The truck was painted & the decals for a local construction company were added. The truck is a near identical copy of the trucks they have. Eventually I'd like to build a pup trailer for this truck. The one thin g different is the PNWSTE decal that can be seen on the box of the truck, they obviously DON'T have them on their trucks.
