Re: CAT 374D L
Its an epic build, amazing how scale it looks!
How much does it weigh now? |

It weighs 24 kilos now without batteries and counterweight fillings. When finished I believe it will be close to 30 kg. |

Re: CAT 374D L
I started to fit the pump and the oil tank to there place. I also mount the valves. I will attach one more block to the valve assembly for some future needs.

Re: CAT 374D L
WOW! I just finished going thru the entire thread!
I would love to see a a bit more of you taking a new part from the drawing into the computer and machining it. This would be a great "how it's made" style video! Jim |
Re: CAT 374D L
I work with the undercarriage today:)
I chanced the track recoil springs more stiffer and adjusted the tracks to correct tension. I added pair of track guides too. Also there was many  bolts and spacers missing which I added. http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psa9102083.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps20df5408.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps0c376a43.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psfafe4e2d.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps86fa4fb5.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psf1d23060.jpg |

Re: CAT 374D L
Incredible work on this machine. The build quality and detail is just over the top!
Don't ever paint it...just clear coat everything and leave it bare.:D |
Re: CAT 374D L
THE best build I have seen so far on all forums !

Re: CAT 374D L
Thanks guys for the nice words:o
I got the fourth block to the valve assembly and made some more work with hoses:) http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps04e89a12.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psae95bc5c.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psc575db8a.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps25daea49.jpg |
Re: CAT 374D L
So what is the plan for the fourth valve? Top secret?
|
Re: CAT 374D L
Hi-flow for a mulching head? Eh?
|
Re: CAT 374D L
I actually have no plans for the extra valve yet, it's just easier to put it there at this stage:)

Re: CAT 374D L
Sure keep it a secret!:p

Re: CAT 374D L
Add a couple more "dummy" hyd lines for electrical accessories, like remote quick-tach coupler and/or screening bucket. ;)
