It turned out nice, I really like the sound very real, so what do you plan to build for the next four years? Can't believe that's how long I've been following this thread!

I can't believe it either :o I thought maybe 6 months :D Nothing more for a while my wife says I have too many and I can only use one at a time :(

Hi Guys, Its been a long time coming, here is a video of the dozer running at Our three day Perth Truck and Trailer show. Its a show for the transport industry here in Western Australia. We go in as a display and capture a lot of the crowds attention, TWO years and counting for the next.

That moves so sweetly with a push on..... a lot to be said for seeing a model dozer working like that. Very nice. Tell me...in our neck of the woods aussie-kiwi wise, where did you source your bolts from for the track pads????

Hey Glen,
The bolts are from Kunupfer In Germany, but they are not cheap.:(

With the aluminium blade, the weight came down to around 24kg

#2 is on the bench now and hopefully by the end of this week it will also be running although unpainted, #3 also unpainted is ready for internal fitout

Cheers for that, I thought there might be an Australasian source somewhere....I've found a few sellers in Europe now and not toooo badly priced, but the freight is the killer........125 euro for 1kg to NZ...funny joke that! Anyway, Love the D11 mate.....hats off to you!

titandigs-It doesn't matter how long it takes. The final results are what's most important. The dozer looks great and seems to work well. Nice work!!
