Thanks, can you get an accurate weight of the machine with battery?

With two 3500mah lipos weighs 22kg compared to the Wedico 345 12.6kg

Thank you. I wonder if your scale might be showing less? Wedico claims 14kg and premacon claims 26-27 kg +
Either way that's impressive weight difference between the 2 machines. :)

Hi Paul,
Very nice new toy! A bit light-weight maybe ;). Seems doggie was checking out you weren´t stealing no bones, or maybe wondering why you are allowed to dig :D

Hey Stefan,
Yes only had a very small lipo inside, 200g maybe, it can fit a battery up to about 900g. And the dogs are 7/12 month old Golden retrievers, man they can out dig anything I have and in very short time.

Hi Paul,:)

my compliments, this machine is great like we saw in Friedericshaven last year together. The appearance and the smoothness of movements are the most evident features.
I am interested to see the translation ability with the wheels and the shoes full of earth, have you already done this extreme test?

Video, video!:D

Did you have to pay extra for the radio setup or is it included with the assembly of the 960 granted you purchase the radio from them?

We had our three day show last weekend and this machine was used every day for at least 4 hours each day. Although the digging material was light the machine ran like a Swiss Clock, this has to be the finest machine around.

Be ready to wait for a long time, I have been waiting for 10+ months? They said they are waiting on my bristle transmitter to be shipped to them (Premacon)? I think titan digs got his right around 8 months, but mine for some reason is taking much longer?

The Brixl is the 'top of the line' radio for functional models, popular in Germany for advanced modellers. There is now another option for a radio with the same convenient 3D sticks; Servonaut HS12. German made. More than enough channels for a excavator and most models, to nearly half the price of the Brixl.

Yeah, the Spectrum series, with at least 7 channels, would do the job too. There are many using them for excavators I guess. An advantage with the original xl4200 radio is one got those quite handy custom made handle bars for the track motor channels, and they are connected to potentiometers, not 3 way switches if I remember correctly, (that gets you just max speed/off drive of the tracks)
On the more expensive radios with the big 3D sticks on just twist them left/right, potentiometer, for operating the track engines. (If I was investing in a expensive machine as Premacon I guess I would evaluate going for a high end radio)

I guess it depends on how one would prefer to hold & operate the radio... I much rather use my thumbs vs thumb & finger, cant' do that with those tray radios.

If you're gonna go Spektrum, then go with the DX9; the 7 won't work for excavator & the 8 not very well.

If I remember correctly I saw somewhere it's roughly 76 lbs RTR
