Re: CAT 14M Motor Grader
Great detail and workmanship. Would like to see the your CNC setup. Would you post a picture of the machine running one of the next parts for your grader?
Thanks. Ken |
Re: CAT 14M Motor Grader
Yes indeed this is a very nice build. I have a soft spot for road graders. I own 4 antique Caterpillar graders built in the 1930's.

I've been dreaming of one of these in 14th scale for yrs! I hope you are saving all your G code to make more than one? :D How much time has past to get to this point in the build? What rpm gear motors on the rear drives? |

Re: CAT 14M Motor Grader
Ari - welcome --- where have you been hiding??;)
Your machining skills are great....I like the front axel set up... And the multi point backers are sweet..... Are you scaling this all from photos and measurements? Or are you engineering and using the 1:1 for inspiration---- either way it's up there with a few of the the greats........ Chris |

I haven´t kept any records of how much time have I use, but I would estimate something about 300 to 400 hours:confused: The motors are RB 35 with 1:100 gear boxes. |
