Re: My Crane truck
well got to add the stripe and it looks a lot better to me then I saw the vents on the front and filled those in with the black as well. I thinks its all starting to come together. On a side note anyone have one king hauler clearance light lens they could part with? I have been all through my parts boxes and cant find the one for the drivers side

Re: My Crane truck
Thanks Kaf it has been an fun build thus far
well I was able to revisit this project a little bit and found a way to make the extend/retract work a bit quicker Went back to the mom and pop electronic shop and they got a bunch of these in but the only problem is you can see they are not that long http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...psb21281bf.jpg I started cutting turning and threading and came up with this. I also took a piece of 1/4 inch delrin and made a solid point to attach to the inner boom http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...ps72966e9a.jpg http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...ps0c75cbf5.jpg Now it moves a bunch quicker then using a 1/4 20 threaded rod |
Re: My Crane truck
