Thanks everyone for the comments!
I have a small update. I got the pressure pipe fitted to the side of the tank and started on the long process of filling and sanding. :D Here's some pics so far: Attachment 1328 Attachment 1329 Attachment 1330 Attachment 1331 |

Re: 1/14 vacuum trailer
This is one good looking suck truck! With all of the Marcellus shale drilling going on around our area there are hundreds of these types of bodies on triaxle trucks. Some are working show trucks.

Re: 1/14 vacuum trailer
Thanks everyone! I run a salt water disposal in Dew, TX so i see at least 50 of these a day. I'm building this one as a prototype to make sure its possible. The next one will be functional using a nitro fuel pump. :D It will be a good way to get rid of all those pesky water puddles in the driveway. 1.5 gallons at a time. Haha.

Another small update. Getting down to the details now. I started working on the hatches and the back valves. I've also included a pic of the truck I've been working on too. :D It uses one of the bruder volvo bodies and its sitting on a cut down king hauler frame. I shortened the flatbed trailer I had and mounted it to the truck using the fifth wheel and 2 mounts I made for the front. Sorry for the blurry pics, they are from my phone. :(
