Re: Volvo FH12 Flatbed
A tip when using rattle cans. clear the tip by holding the can up side down and giving it a quick spray before and after spraying your project.

Well, I have been painting for a week, and every time I get close, I pool the paint, and it drips. I've used 4 cans so far, and have jack #$%& to show for it.:mad: The bumper is ready for clear, the roof needs another coat, and the cab needs sanded again! I'll let you know how it goes...:( |
Re: Volvo FH12 Flatbed
Well, I did manage to fix a little and hit it with more, but it's far from finished.
Looks like more paint...:o http://i896.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/P1010268.jpg http://i896.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/P1010269.jpg Let me know what you think, at least it has new paint!:D |

Well, I went to do touch ups, and wiped a little drip, which wiped off half the paint on the side of the roof... :):jaw::mad: Painting is turning out to be the hardest part of this build! Not to mention I'm on my sixth can! For the $50 it's cost me for paint, I could have had it done professionally! I swear, a few more empty cans, and I'll just hit this thing with Rustoleum!:D Anyway, for clear coat, which Tamiya TS- spray paint is the best? Thanks for lookin'!:D |
