Ben it has both it is a two speed. put a 4:1 gru between the motor and the trans and it should be perfect with a 55 turn.

i now have a axial trans im going to run as a transfer case and i think its a 3 to 1 reduction and i have 3 tlt axles and was wondering if i will need more gear reduction with a 65 turn motor and tamiya 3 speed ?

No more reduction needed the 55 turn Tamiya trans and Axial transmission will work fine together.
