Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
You will enjoy having the ripper, only down side, they don't stay on very long.
Then it's time to put the bucket back on. I seldomly leave mine on the mini excavator More than 5-10 minutes. Cheers, Neil. |
Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
How long does it take to make a change with that mechanical quik-tach?
Looking good Emil! |
Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
Less than 2 minutes to pull the safety pin and rock the jaw, with the crowbar.
And 1 trip out of the cab for each attachment. Yes Joe, I know you were asking Emil, lol! Cheers, Neil. |

Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
So that allen screw is push/pulling the pins at the back? Pretty slick! You keep the wrench in the cab? :D
Thanx for the vid. |

Short hours at my regular job today :)
I bought a new motor for the pump on my way back home. It was also time for (an overdue) oil change. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...psf6c6f6e5.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps5f236f9f.jpg |

Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
Which one is the new one & what are the specs of each motor in the picture?

Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
1100kv, hmmm, that's quite a bit... do you have the epa turned to 50-60% max? Are you running 10cell or 3s?
What were the specs of the other brushless motor & why did you change it out? |
Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
The original replacement motor from Leimbach is spinning on 12.000 RPM at full speed. That equals to a 1080kV motor using 3s LiPo (as I am).
I´ve set it up to run on 30% without load, and up to 65% with fully open valves. All four functions are mixed with the pump using the radio (Spectrum DX10t). The old motor had similar specs, but it had some bad bearings. The new motor is bigger, thus I expect it to have more torque. I´m looking forward to really try it in the dirt :) |

Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
I've not been fully satisfied with the capacity of the hydraulic system. Leimbach has made an upgrade kit for the Medico excavator that I bought. I'm pleased with the initial testing :) Old pump was app 380ml/s, while the new one is 600ml/s.

Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
The only change is the pump? Didn't increase fittings or hose ID too?
Quite a change! almost too quick, but not hard to program curves for valve adjustment & pump speeds. ;) |
Re: Hitachi Zaxis 210
New fittings on the pump, and new hoses between pump and valves.
