Re: Dozer like Cat D8
Hello all,
i have changed some parts and i think it looks better than before. New blade for better pushing and the weight is now 4,6 Kg (former 3,6 Kg) http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...h2izoq03fv.jpg http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...6ock3rvpg4.jpg Best Regards Wolfgang |
Re: Dozer like Cat D8
Very cool machinery, all of it! That cat really pushes the dirt around with all authority. That Menck crane-dragline works well too. Good stuff!!!! Dan

Where abouts did you get the tracks from?

But i will change them this year (i hope so) to metal, because the dozer is not able to put the whole power into the ground. |

Re: Dozer like Cat D8
Wolfgang,
Nice job on the dozer. Did you have good pictures or plans for the build? Did you make all the parts from scratch? Like pulleys for the rope lift and undercarriage? Thanks for the videos, Jim |
Re: Dozer like Cat D8
Hi Jim,
some pics of building. I had no plans, only pictures. Therefore i named this "Dozer like Cat D8". All selfmade, frame in aluminum, cab in steel http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...z4q9k78rmx.jpg http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...moixtaws7l.jpg http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...2f3gebyqxr.jpg http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...tvo2g3fxrl.jpg http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uplo...qvig0anslk.jpg |

Hello Wolfgang do the tracks still make the noise like the real dozer? That alone made your build special. Ed

Re: Dozer like Cat D8
Slippery trailer decks make it difficult to load!
I've slid off of a tilt deck before, makes for an exciting ride! Nice trailer! Cheer's, Neil. |
