Copper, truckmaker thanks a bunch

I've been giving this some thought  since the hi-tech 645MG does a nice job of steering , I might give the firgelli actuators a shot for the blade functions . Anyone know the actual length of the 50mm stroke pin center to pin center closed ? I got plenty other places to put that pump and valves in :D

I found it on their site  even the 30mm is to long and I'm not redoing that part . so back to plan A  Make it all tight in the cabin and engine house  .

Well that's too bad... an all electric set up would have been perfect for this lil beast, all the extra space could've been used for steel & lead weight.

I'm really liking those crows feet, hoping it's sooner than later when you make another run. ;)

right now it weighs in at 20lbs 9.5oz w/out the blade . the wheels are the majority of the weight (3-3.5 lbs a piece ), I suppose I could make them work . It's just moving the tilt boss on the blade back 10mm . Then I can fill the oil tank with BB's .

when I clean the mill out to run steel I'll throw them in the schedule .

I was going to go with firgellis (don't worry I got another place to use them :) ) but time is running short for cabin fever :( . Cylinder production is almost complete so ,WTH , get er done  cap nuts and we good to go .

of course we throw nothing away stack is made from setup pieces and leftover tube . inside is a piston that had chatter in o-ring groves :(

I don't, I just force myself to take some time . A lot of these where started a year or 2 ago . I just resolved to start finishing 1-3 at a time before starting any new 1's this year

Hey, Steve, looks like you hit another home run! How you got all that stuff under the hood is a magic trick in itself. Decals and glass will top it off. I really like the blade mechanism - just like the real thing.

You may have covered hydraulic cylinder making in another thread, but do you use single or double o-rings on the piston? O-ring for the rod packing?

Ken

TY . I use o-rings on the piston and an X-ring for rod seal/wiper . On these I put a o-ring behind the X-ring for the rod seal/wiper . seams to work well so far .
