Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
Nice Build, Cascadia is the type of truck normally seen pulling a box, reefer or tank, the low bed looks good behind it, I think the lazy pusher axle gives it a tougher stance!

Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
Could you take some pics of the tranny set up? I'd like to try something like that. Very good idea!

Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
Wow not bad, somewhere along the lines of my build but I'm going for the day cab tri-drive cascadia and plan on building a completely custom low boy.

Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
Hi Snowman3725, sorry for the delay. I just stacked the tranny's inline and connected them with a short drive shaft. The Hi Low tranny was modified to the servo could be located behind the whole setup. The Hi Low tranny was also mounted inverted so the output shaft of the first tranny would line up with the second.

Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
She looks great. Is there any way of getting some pics of the transmission? Now when you say you took a two speed trans out of an original king hauler, I wasn't aware the king hauler ever came with a different trans in earlier versions.

Re: Heavy Haul Cascadia with 6 speed transmission
I used the original three speed kind hauler tranny for the Hi Low. I had originally wanted a 9 speed (3 and 3) but second gear on the second tranny would overlap speeds with first and third gear. Instead, we removed second gear, allowing for the second tranny to only have first and third gear.
