Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Slow progress due to the fact that I am waiting for parts to arrive;
So below are a few of pics of the second tanks having been installed and I added a trailer line pole to hold the cables for the trailers brakes and lights.... mostly lights though lol http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...psf7d3fd0e.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps02379124.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...pse6414cc2.jpg Next I need to mount the knight hauler control box across the back for the MFU. |
Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Hey guys..... a quick question.... I am going to add a few LED's here and there. I have heard horror stories about adding aftermarket LED's and connecting to them to the Tamiya MFU? Has anyone wired in aftermarket LED's into your Tamiya MFU without issue? Or do you only add Tamiya LEDs to the MFU?
If you have used aftermarket LEDs where did you purchase the LEDS? Thanks guys |
Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Some more small update as parts arrive.

Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Thus far I have mounted the square style bumper. Next I am going to mount Steves rounded corner bumper and then choose which I like best;

Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Nice build , that bumper looks good only thing you need to do is move that axle forward.

Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
Where did you get your "trailer line pole"? I've never seen one like this. Very unique!

Re: Rookie Custom Globe Build
So here is a couple pics of Steves bumper mounted. I put a couple screws in the center member to suck the body down flush to the bumper.
