Re: Liebherr 574
Cracking job Reg!
Why 3x esc's? are 2 for the actuators and 1 for the wheel motors? |
Re: Liebherr 574
Wow excellent job,
Can you post some videos of it working once all parts are present, how much do you think it will lift? :bounce: |
Re: Liebherr 574
Nice job Reg.......as usual. I may have to take a stab at one.

Re: Liebherr 574
Great job reg, if you weren't one of my best friends I would hate you for making this look so easy lol.. I think I will be bringing my 574 for you to do instead of me hacking mine up on my dining room table where I have no tools or skills lol ... Again great job

OK, remember how I basically said in the beginning that I was going to leave it plastic and add aluminum parts as needed? Well forget I said that because I have already started making parts and I haven't done anythng other than pull a few wheelies with it so far.:D:cool: No, I don't have 3 loaders...Anyone need one of these? Yes, I am aware that I have a problem... I was proud of myself for being able to make this shape without throwing a tantrum or wasting material. http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4651f34c.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psc056ecb9.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps197aff7e.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9358263e.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psccb7e254.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps94598f3c.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psaeda850a.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6bfe1486.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psf2c60ad0.jpg The easy part is done. Now I have to make the mounts. Once those are done I plan to add a few more details. Thanks for looking. |
Re: Liebherr 574
Well an aluminium bucket would be great if your selling them, also it would be a way of adding an attachment mechanism on, as I wish to have the ability to load a set of tynes to use as a fork loader for moving containers and pallets around on rough surfaces.

Re: Liebherr 574
Gorgeous job on the buckets brother!

Re: Liebherr 574
Thanks men! I made a little more progress on the buckets today. Here's a few pictures to show one mounted on the machine and a video will follow eventually of it in action. The buckets are bigger than the stock one. I widened them about 1/2" because it seems like most of the conversions end up with a wider wheel track. The are also a little deeper because of the curved front and have height added to keep dirt from going over the back. I still want to add more detail before I call them done but I think the are coming together nicely. They are also a good bit stronger than stock!

Looking good reg keep up the good work

Re: Liebherr 574
Hey Reg, by chance can you tell us what ratio of actuators you are using? I'd like to do the same type of conversion I'm just not sure what ratio I need to get for decent speed and power.
Thanks |
Re: Liebherr 574
I almost don't even like to look at your builds because they put mine to shame haha amazing work!

Re: Liebherr 574
Another sweet conversion Reg. Happy New year to you .

Well, I think the buckets are nearly finished. I welded on all the mounts and gave them all a test fit. http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...pse4558a81.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...psde0fd5bd.jpg http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8ab5a90f.jpg |
