Definitely can use a bridge or two in the park Bo. There's a couple places I wanted to run road but had to avoid due to the large tree roots. A low level bridge fixes that perfectly! .
I'll take some measurements and some pics....... Once the #*^{ snow melts that is.:(. What a weird spring. not liking it.:cop:

So, when are you going to build the 4000 Manitowoc to set your beams and load/unload your trailer?

Good Idea Claus.

Wish i got more time to build a crane. Just got 30 pair of low profile wheels delivered. Still waiting for more axles. (Trailer for the MB.) in the works.
I'm hoping Kerst and Izzy can provide load/unload service at some event.:D
Anybody else building Cranes out there ? And i hope to see more BeamHauler Builds going.
The only crane i have is not to Tamiya scale.

I would hope to have the boom operational for indy. Slow going at this point though. A cold workshop has not helped either.

I feel with You...a cold workshop is no fun Let the summer come along.
Could be really cool to have your crane do some loading and unloading.
Hope i can make it to Indy in the fall.

TRUCKMAKER 04-09-2016 08:09 PM

Re: KH Beam Hauler

The front axle on the trailer will steer, l was hoping it would self steer but I missed on the caster so I might just put a servo on it.

Re: KH Beam Hauler

Last night a jo-dog was built...........however it did not track very well so i changed a bunch and made a bo-dog
I wanted the Globe to pull something, and it needs to track very well.
Today it was testing-time in the sun. Surprise it works. So now i go back to shop and put lipstick and fancy parts on it.
