thank you. so far so good with the new motor, had it programmed so we will see on the next run. if it is any where near the fuel mileage i had with the last one i'll be happy. but then again i did put 3/4 million miles before she let go.

its funny this came up, i did some work on mine tonight and i had to raise my 5th wheel too!

i just put apiece of .080 (i think) between the plate and the bed.

a raised 5th wheel is very common on flatbed trucks and heavy haul, i know alot of east multi axle trailers require it.

Nice job Shaun! The red and black paint looks good together are you going to hinge the hood even if you don't I think your truck is cool anyways !!!

lol i have that same prob..... if you look at the pics of my build you'll see the bench go from completly clean and organized to distroyed and in dismay overnight..... thats usually when i cant find stuff haha

Yeah the video is great, nice test run. She looks well out in the sun! Those fenders and head lights really make this a unique build.

Well hippy I thought you couldn't use an MFU with digi trims until recently. Seems quite a few people have done it. If your radio is programmable you can have a trim give you full left or full right with the throw of a switch. Pretty sure guys have used DX7's, Spectrum seem to be very popular at the moment. You should be fine either way. I think the Servonaut solution is a but more expensive, but from all of the youtube vids I have watched, I deffo prefer the sounds from the Servonout sound module, more realistic. Love the turbo whistle.

the servonaut unit works really well with dx8, havent had any problems

My MFU works great with a DX5E the 7 i havnt heard anything bad about. its just harder to set up initially. i myself prefer the sound of the MFU vs the servonaut. i guess its more of what your prefrence is in overall function or sound
