Re: Paystar 5000

Finally got a little progress done on this. Made up a front bumper for it. Need to sand and repaint it, the masking tape pulled some paint off when I removed it. Mounted a polised deck plate, fuel tanks, winch, headache rack and antenneas. Thanks Steve!!! Been to long since I worked on this. Paystars have always been my favorite truck. Thinking I might be needing some custom boxes for the frame.

That trailer is impressive, but I really like your Paystar. Nice job with all the styrene work that went into it. I've never been very good with styrene.

Thanks!! My first plow truck was a paystar. With out a doubt it easier to clean the windsheild. I like the look of flat fender trucks, they look mean like a true work horse.

Nice looking trailer. I like that lift axle idea, with the smaller tires on it. It's perfect.

With everybody building dump trucks it made me rethink my heavy haul.So I put my dumpbed on and tag wheels for mock up.The bed has to be raised and cab sheild reworked.Lets hear some feedback, heavy haul or dump truck?

This is pretty much what I was going to say. Another option would be making the dump body self contained so to speak and easily removable. Then make a low profile bed with fenders, fifth wheel, winch and headache rack or what ever that you drop on the frame for the heavy hauler. The bed on the truck in my avitar mounts with six screws, every thing comes off to the bare rails including fifth wheel and its servo and linkage. Just a thought, the dump does look good!

Might have to make another cab for the heavy haul, might have to be a twin steer this time.Making the dumpbed removable wouldnt be an option.

Thats a great idea Aaron was wondering what I should do about that KW. Probably be easier sending it to you then wiping the dust off of it. Lol. I do like that bed on there. Started cutting up a KH cab we'll see where it goes.
