Well here a a couple of up grades.. Got the servo activated 5th wheel done, what a pain but it was a learning thing... Thanks to Mario (S&M) for pictures of how this is done..

Todays job was to make single fenders for the drives.. First did the mounting brackets out of brass mounted to the axles. If it was not for an article about making the fender by another member (I believe it was Travis) it would have been a lot harder.. Another learning thing.. Next will be to polish them..

Well it has been awhile, I was sick for three week with Bronchitis and was unable to work on my day cab. Well I have been back for a couple of days, Got the chassis painted I used Boysenberry, as it is one of the two tone colours I am going to use on the cab..

I have got most of the items mounted on the frame, polished the fender and got them mounted.

Re: Wayne's trucks and trailers.

Well I have always want to build a couple of COE IH and Kenworths, so I started on a COE IH single axle.. Started on a IH single axle with a custom stock length frame, add a set of Russ's (True Scale) fuel tanks and step boxes Steve's (IHB Scale) wheels and custom round end bumper..
http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P7130257.jpg

you can see Russ's air ride and Reg's (RCP's Aluminum) light plate..

http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P7130259.jpg

This is Russ's billet grill..

Re: Wayne's trucks and trailers.

Received a set of Fat Stacks bull horn stacks really like then, Did some body mods and add on of Fred aluminum boxes...
http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P7260276.jpg

Made the aluminum deck plates and mounted the 5th wheel.. no really happy with the stack mounts, do not like to mount them to the body, not a scale thing......

http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P7260277.jpg

Body almost ready for final prep before paint..

http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P7260280.jpg

Re: Wayne's trucks and trailers.

Talked to Russ (True Scale) and he came up with these stack mounts, like them much better....

http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P8180288.jpg

Rod (Stepside) sent me a great visor for my COE, got all the holes drilled for the roof lights and work lights

http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P8180294.jpg

Well everything was ready for final sanding and paint....
