The only way I see this working is if I drive my 71 Newport 4dr hard top. It has a HUGE trunk and big enough seats to sleep on when I can't drive anymore at the end of the day. Problem is, the car has been stored since 2003 and will need some work.lol

just to get caught up on the planning.....

Of course everyone who can make it up here is welcome to come. There's clean affordable hotels and motels within less than 2 minutes away. Grocery store also. Got a fire pit and a couple barbecues. I can't cook for all of you but will make sure there's a way to cook.:)

The more the merrier! There is one thing we all love just as much as running our rigs. Talking about the rigs :D. Running in the park will be a blast but I'm really looking forward to having all you guys gathered together in person as a group in my backyard......wow!:bounce:

With or without RC in hand, you know you have to make the trip Reg:D

Spoke with the rest of the Scale builders RC club Ontario yesterday anyd everyone is good with the dates of August 5,6 and 7th.
Ill post up hotel phone numbers but first I'm going to see about getting special rate if you all stay at the same place?
Take over a motel for a weekend?:rolleyes: this could get interesting. :lol:

Been there, done that at Indy. It was Susan who managed to drag me out long enough to get some food. Lol

Just realized, one machine we really need to make road fixing proper is a grader. I wonder how hard it would be to get Travis to go north of the border?:rolleyes::).
Admins are invited naturally.:cop::lol:

Might have to see if we can do that but I think you have to have a pasport for that so I will have to work on that first.

Yes you do need a passport, they don't have a sense of humor at the border!

Re: S&M construction open for bizz nizz!

It's been a while since I've crossed the Canadian border. When I lived in Vermont we frequented Montreal quite a bit, just a drivers license in and out. And over the years of traveling out of country I have to say our customs are a joke. It is far more timing and proper paperwork to get into other countries (Caribbean, South America, Central America) than to pass back into the U.S. Many times arriving into Baltimore late at night customs just wave you by. But that is mostly air travel. I wonder what the desk would say when asked " any checked bags?" And I reply I have a d11, cat excavator, dumptruck as carry ons:)

Re: S&M construction open for bizz nizz!

I want to be there when your carry on goes through the Xray machine with D11 and a dump truck inside ... you may have some explaining to do......

I think a long weekend at Mario and Sue would be the best part of the 2016 summer..... I know most of the club will be there.......
