Re: New build. Yes another peterbilt tri-axle dump!
As always great build!! I was wondering if you can get into a little more detail on you'r lift axle set up? I'm about to start on a lift axle. I'm at a lose on how to go about. I wish someone sold a unit like the lift axle unit for the Wedico trucks.

Congratulations for your work, the detail of bending the shaft'm fine but I imagine that the material is flexible, no?

Re: New build. Yes another peterbilt tri-axle dump! small update 4/17/12
Thanks for the comments guys. The lift axle bend is actually made form a piece of 1/2 solid steel rod that i heated and bent. I had turned it down to fir inside one of Ric's aluminum tamiya axles. i had cut about 1 inch off of each end than inserted the steel axle in side it.
