Re: My little logistic center
Very Cool!
I bet it is tough backing a long trailer in those narrow loading bays? Jim |
Re: My little logistic center
I'm glad you enjoy it Mario . It's really fun to be able to do some trucking indoors, I honestly sometimes go through 2 fully charged 6500mah batteries just moving cargo around and trying to parallel park trucks and stuff.

Re: My little logistic center
Hello Guys, well Business has been great here at Prestige Worldwide Logistics and Excavating. We had to get some shipping containers to ship some big things, took me a few days to get them painted and then spent the last 18 hrs putting custom logos, indivially cut letters for serial numbers and capacity specs. I'm real happy with the way they turned out.

Look at the joy on their faces. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1884679d.jpg Thanks for looking. |

Re: My little logistic center
Sooo, Containers, Yep, well I just can't get enough of them. After a very very long time searching the net and the evil bay, I scored, the hard sided container that I've been wanting is now mine, all mine, all Five Brand new ones and the one used one. I paid a lot of money for them but I just had to have them.
http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psyvkcykug.jpg More photos of them on the lot will follow as soon as I calm down :D |
Re: My little logistic center
Nice job with the containers. So is there a reach stacker or straddle carrier in the works? :)

Re: My little logistic center
The work load is getting heavy around the two loading bays so we needed more help. The boss went on the hunt for more machines to ease off some of the stress of having only one forklift, and success it was..
http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psnsptheyo.jpg These are probably the best forklifts ever made. I got two more machines, paid a premium for them but that's what happens when all the guys in Germany want them. Anywho, one was brand new build but the steering links broke during shipping from Germany , the other is brand new in the box still. So I decided to take the new built one apart and redo it my way , new paint job since they come unpainted in orange plastic. I also wanted to give you guys a little build thread on these machines or more of what's inside, added longer forks that I had stashed and the load support bars. So Here we go: http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7xsonq72.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psqqmqn6o3.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psjmesu1pl.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psgqetdyey.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psahvuwabj.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8ij6afdg.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psbgj69ffg.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psllfizgit.jpg This is an aftermarket steering setup I had since I got my first forklift but never put it on, I have 3 sets so I will upgrade all the machines http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psg0nfbrkq.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...pshjwfrma7.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psqlxeqfse.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psw05duqka.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...pshlbciz7q.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...pst3or8v1n.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psgewqfqbx.jpg This is Loyd, nice guy, a little hard headed but a nice guy, glad to have him on board http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psqliuraxm.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psn60y8dwu.jpg And some new paver shipment has arrived and needs to be unloaded . Until next time fellas. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psnq4km2e6.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...psfpgmjesw.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...pshvycbd8r.jpg |

Nice colour

Re: My little logistic center
Did you make the bricks ? Great looking trailer load! The new forklift turned out great. I love the wheels and they look perfect with the body colour.
Can't wait to see more pics and maybe vids of these at work perhaps? :D Mario |

Re: My little logistic center
So how do these forklifts compare to the ones Carson sells ??
|
Re: My little logistic center
Night and day. Those are still good but cheaply made. These guys are way stronger and can lift heavy stuff. You get what you pay for.
|
Re: My little logistic center
By the way the Carson one is the only one left in production beside the cheap $25 ones you from eBay. These Robbe ones have been discontinued .

Re: My little logistic center
Very cool layout. Looks like a fun center.
