I know I said it before and I'll say it again. This KW is looking very nice, Rick. The paint came out very nice. I never got to watch an episode of Movin' On, but I definitely remember the truck, from my youth. Didn't it normally pull a cattle trailer? Between this one and your T800, you are going to have some fine Kenworth models. I swear that T800 in your avatar is a 1/25 scale model, but I know it's not. Did you ever have a build thread for that truck? I'd love to see some more of it, in detail.

Re: movin'on w900a kenworth

Thanks Nathan. On the t.v. shop thy pulrd just about every trailer, mostly a box van, My plan is to build a 40 foot van and paint is the same color green with the stripe to continue down the side.
I don't have a thread on the t800 but i'll have to do one.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/t...on/W900a16.jpg

what do i do now? change it? leave it? it dont look bad this way.
what do you all thank?

Re: movin'on w900a kenworth

Rick I personally would have to change it. If I was making a replica of a real truck, It would drive me up the wall knowing this was wrong. I think it looks good the way it is, however if you look at it from a Graphics point of view the Arrowhead on the hood is on a horizontal plane and the one on the sleeper is on a angled plane...

Just my two cent's worth. Of course in today's market that is only worth half that..:D

Thanks mike for your half a cent's worth :D
I thank its going to be just a W900A. the green color is to dark, the wheel bace is to short and now the Arrowhead is to big and on wrong. how ever, kenworth did this paint design. called Apache.
so as of now, I thank i will leave it, next week may be another story

Re: movin'on w900a kenworth

I was going to say leave it, but now that I see the actual photo of the truck, I think a respray is in order! :D Not to take away from your paint work thus far, because it's great, but if you are going after a replica of the Movin' On W900A, then I think it would be nice to match the color and the stripes exactly!
