You'll be a pro operator in no time, Travis.

Thanks joe it is definatly different operating a toy from out side rather than being in the cab of a real one.

Thanks Scott I took some advice and added weight to it but as I started runnig the loader I leaned real quick to put the added weight to the front of the machine if you put weight in the rear it makes the loder tip backward even going up a small incline.

Nice Travis. Do you find it runs smoother and cuts better with something in the bucket, I know that make a world of difference when running a 963 or 953.

Well the loader is painted now. I had one of our members (IZZY) paint it. Here are some pics.

I have also ordered a new speed controller as this is the one down fall I have found with the model it causes the loader to track really slow. I thought it might be because they run the pump motor from the ESC so I unhooked the pump and the speed didn't change. So I am not real sure why they did it that way. I also found that at full speed it will speed up the motor opposite the direction off a turn so the model is capable of going faster. the ESC also requires that it have directional (forward or reverse) input to turn it won't do a 360 deg turn by just moving the stick left or right. I plan to put in the new ESC and wire the pump motor and lights to a double battle switch this way I can turn them off when you want to take a break or conserve battery.

:) Izzy did a GREAT job of painting. After seeing it with and without paint, it really changed its looks with the paint. Now it needs to get dirty!!

Re: My new toy

Thanks Lynn and yes Izzy did a fantastic job I am very happy. It got a little dirty this weekend but I gave up playing with it till I get the new ESC it is just to slow. Compared to a stall dozer it is about half speed.

That looks great Travis! (thumbs up too Izzy)

Are you gonna decal it with any brand name or company name?

I've noticed that too with the kit supplied dual esc, they're really finicky to mess with to get full power out of them. I prefer the way it works though as compared to say the Sabertooth, easier to control.

We are trying to make some 963 CAT decals. It wont exactly right but I will be happy. Is there a way to program the kit supplied ESC to the radio. I ordered a sabertooth because I liked how it works in my CAT tractor. Using the dip switches you can change how the sabertooth reacts to the radio.

I bought this one used and did not get any paper work with it. I have been trying to find a manual on the loader and the speed controller and I would appreciate any help locating a copy of them.

Re: My new toy

I got the new ESC in and it works much better. The loader drives much smother and faster and with the pump on a battle switch (fail safed to the off pos) the receiver links almost instantly now.:D Thanks to Lil giant I now have a manual for the original ESC and I plan to use it in a new project.

Re: My new toy

Thanks Henry and thank Sandy for running the camera. Well I went out side and played in the cold wet dirt but it worked just fine. I guess it would be better if I had some rubber or dry broken up dirt in the house but I will have to settle for the flower bed.
