Wow..... another Cat D11! Just look at that shop too! Good grief, you guys have a great place to build anything you wish. Very cool. Tracks look great, as I am sure the rest of the model will be too! Awesome. Keep up the progress. I can never get enough of these builds.

A couple of hours fitting today gets the first track assembly for the first D11. The drive gear is a spare from my Wedico 345D and is only for the photo.

The pads and rails look really good, Paul. I'm glad it's you and not me though.lol I didn't think I was ever going to get through with just 82 of them.

Ok so the end of a public holiday long week end and the second set of track plates are fitted. Only 164 pieces to go:confused::confused:

(9w monighan) sorry I don't know your name the track plates were machined from a 2 foot length of material and parted off by the cnc mill.

I have a wedico float but it wont be up for the job, with the excavator on you can see it flex between the top and bottom deck. So a new trailer will be needed.

Love it. amazing work. your tracks are such a perfect fit. my guess working at the drawings paid off. I am waiting to see whats drive your using. great job keep pics coming.
