Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
Civic, this thing is really starting to come together!! even since last week when I saw it. as for colour, I would go RED!! but I am an IH guy so I may be a bit biased. can't wait to see it again when I pick up the Falcon and Grasshopper. Great job, maybe you could teach me a few tricks so I can start doing some of these things.

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
As in Boyd Coddington? Cool, yeah that's the job!

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
Ya i wanted green but everywhere around me was out of everything except really ugly shades lol. This red is a boyd coddington colour. I plan to put a company
name on the doors in white. |

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
Just got my first look at this truck and man am I jealous! I am a kit builder, and I love my truck so far (first one), but I do love the look of these scratch builds! Boy the money somebody could make selling those type of wheels......wish I had skills

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
yes i also would leave the color truck looks fantastic! i think the color sets off the rims just because its bright and rims being so unique are dark perect combo

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
Is it just me or does it need a gun rack? Lol

Re: early 50's ford coe hay hauler
well, almost got it finished finally. cab and bed paint is mostly done, just needs some touch ups, frame is painted and all major components installed. lights wired, details (mudflaps, hitch, lic. plates) done and mounted. Have driven it, wayyyy too slow with the 80t motor, going to put maybe a 45 in it. i do still need to make a proper driveshaft and hang the exhaust i made for it but thats about it!
what you guys think? http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/c195c52d.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/1f403bd9.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/6422cdca.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/79788b63.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/f12eaba6.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/d1107eb1.jpg http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/s...3/d05c15b2.jpg |

Another fine job Civic. Between this, Optimus and MotorMaster, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite builders.
