Brian, the dump box looks very good! I really like the cross members on the underside. From what I can see, you are well on your way to pulling this build off perfectly, just like all of your other trucks. It doesn't surprise me at all!

Thanks for the kind words guys!! I appreciate the interest in the grills. I have the program for them on a jump drive I just have to find a shop to run a few for me to see how they look. I finally got enough done to justify an update!! this build is kickin my a$$. The body alone is real challenge. I gotta give props to all of those who build dump boxes 'cause they're a challenge! The cab protector took my as long to do it as it the did the rest of the box:eek::eek: here are some pics, enjoy!!

Top Notch Brian !

Any particular way you mount the rivets? measuring and such ? pattern you go by or a template?

Just wondering

Absolutely top notch work Brian, just comparing with the photo in your avatar, it's a facsimile. Even the little details like the visor, it is precisely like the one on your truck in the picture. Obviously the product of a lot of patience, precision and attention to detail.

Thanks! Alfy! I put them 1/4 inch on center. Scale should really be alot closer but That gives it enough to carture the right look.

Brian this thing is fantastic. The dump box, the grill, the body, all the high end aluminum and shiny metal work from guys here and machine shops you're using...just first class all of it. This right here is what I'm shootin' for in a build. Love it. Thanks for sharing. Joe

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 6-13-11

That is one of a kind right there, really great detail. It's the kind of thing you could never sell to anyone because of all the blood sweat and tears invested in it. Can't put a price on that.

Coming along very, very nicely, Brian! The more I keep looking at your trucks, the more I feel like giving these Tamiya rigs another go around, but I'm not much of a styrene working king, like you are! The dump box looks great!
