Thanks Jim......I am moving all of my hobby room stuff to the garage (I got kicked out of my room) so I have not had a lot of time.

I will get back at it soon!

You know, the garage is the only place in the house that I have that is mine. Once we had kids they took over most of it. When we move I hope to have a shop that will have a bathroom so I can have my own castle. We can always dream right?

Very small update!
Since my brother wanted this truck,I decided to let him do the body work.
He has built several models and they all look great, but the body work on this
truck looked horrible....and long story short he gave up.

Well it's back in my hands, and I decided to start over with a different body.
Now I think I am going with a old rat rod look .
Here is where I'm at...

Thanks for the comments guys!

I decided to paint the frame a semi gloss black for more of a work truck look.

I am leaning toward a faded,worn,weathered look like the pic below,but I
change my mind alot.I just want to do something different!

Troy you have a talent in making trucks look BAD. And this one is no exception! Steps look great. I wonder if it would be possible to duplicate them in resin? Then it would save the precious monogram parts.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is where I'm at now!
I started sanding the fenders, and added the contour on the hood.

No two ways about it, that cat's gotta go in!
Nice detail on the hood, and what's that lurking next to the KW? Intriguing...

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Troy, that Cat would look awesome, under the hood of my Wedico! You should sell it to me. :D But really, it would look nice under any truck hood, but with the King Hauler, I think it would take a little extra hood work because guys who cut the hood, so it can tilt up, end up having the fenders hit the air cleaners. So either you get stuck cutting the fenders or stretching the hood, but then again, your fender mods on the first cab you did might give you the clearance you need. Really though, with your skills, none of this would give you a challenge, I am sure.

I'm kind of curious how easy or hard it is to tighten up the front fender, like you did with the first cab. That's a great looking mod. It looks so good that I am tempted to get a KH again and try making it a W900 also. I really like that KW grill on there. That alone makes the truck look leaps and bounds better then any stock KH. The double round headlights, do another huge favor to the look, and finally, tightening up those fenders is the icing on the cake. As I said, I am tempted! So what was left of the cab you gave to your brother, and how did he destroy it? To me, it didn't look like it needed anything else done to it, to make it perfect.
