Re: Watermelon train
that so cool roughly how many feet of track do you have down on your layout with the moss it looks great
|
Re: Watermelon train
Hi Jack mainline about 275 plus yard and a couple of siding . I like the moss too but after that photo -gonzo - the moss actually moves the rail around which is not good . Mike

You must be a train driver or so :-) I'd love to see a video. Great job

Re: Watermelon train
Chris and Jack I can barely post one pic at a time . Videos confuse me but I have a couple . I don't drive trains only model ones . I build houses but don't drive them either . If you check capital roads there are a few more pics . Mike

Re: Capital road
Well the railroad picked up a new piece of equipment on Friday . It came all the way from New Jersey to the capital woods of Ontario from the orange construction co . I'm sure you'll recognize it . Today after a quick check over it got its first job moving a locomotive to winter storage . We had to raise the roads at crossing but we made it with minimal bottom drag . The shop is going to stiffen up a couple joints as the loco 38pounds pushed way down on the float . I'll post a couple other pics . Mike http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...psxdkvwa07.jpg

Re: Capital road

Re: Capital road
A photo for Kieth and Brian ERC and a big Thankyou to Kieth for selling me his float . Now the railroad doesn't have to lift stuff up 42 inches of the ground to the flat bed trailer . One day they will own a crane . Have fun Mike http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...pshowknoje.jpg

Re: Capital road
Congrats on the new trailer and make sure you bring that with you when you come for a visit. Plenty of iron to haul :)
Great pics! Thanks for posting. |
Re: Capital road
Hi guys does anyone know how to get the tires of a bruder toy ? Thanks Mike
|
Re: Capital road
I cut the axles near the center and attach a drill. Spin the drill fast and pull. The heat softens the plastic and the axle will come out easy. If I need the axle I just weld them back together.lol

Re: Capital road
The weld together will be interesting , we are saving for a landscape toy . But all ok I want to make new mounts for the wheels . Thanks Reg Mike
