|
Re: Boom/crane truck
Thanks Guys!
Chris,I hope they hold,There 10mm pistons.Hopefully won't have to run real high pressure. Greg, try it on your taps,Makes for a smoother thread. What a pain in the butt to get this drive shaft in. It took me like 2hrs. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics4990.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics4991.jpg You can't fit a fleas butt between the shaft & outrigger housing. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics4995.jpg But I got'er! Thanks for lookin! FGD |
Re: Boom/crane truck
wow fred i was going to ask how u where going to fit the drive line under the outrigger..
|
Re: Boom/crane truck
Yea,it was a tight fit.Speaking of a tight fit,This baby is gunna need some shoe horns involved,to git the cab over all the electronics.
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics5052.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics5051.jpg & there's still a lot of crap that has to go in here! Man!I can't wait to play w/this one. Thanks for lookin! FGD |
Re: Boom/crane truck

Re: Boom/crane truck

Re: Boom/crane truck

|
Re: Boom/crane truck
nice work, all you trucks look great
|
Re: Boom/crane truck
Freddy - best to drop some of the quick connects. On my IH I took a pc board to make a multi channel y adapter - didn't have room for those pesky long y adapter harnesses
Gonna fit an MFU? |
Re: Boom/crane truck
Thanks Guys!
Brel, the plate is from PMD,They'll be on the venders forum very soon. Larry, you aint gunna see what's under the sand paper, unless you come here & I show you.:p:D Chris, Thanks for the advise. Managed to get a little done, the out riggers work via the motor. Still need to make some changes. But,for just putting together,I'm not going to complain. At least it's only small changes I need to make. Here's a quick vid of the movement of the out riggers. Not using the radio, just touching the wires together. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics5063.jpg Now the next vid is done via the radio. Don't have the rest of the hydraulic parts yet,so can't raise the boom yet. But! The rest works! http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...mppics5064.jpg Every thing needs grease, but not till after it is painted. Man,git the hydraulics workin! & I'm not going to know how to act. Thanks for takin a look! FGD |
Re: Boom/crane truck

Re: Boom/crane truck
those outriggers on neat Freddy. @We just finished hooking hydraulic lines to ours toady on the 60 Ton. Gotta put the arms in and feet on tomorrow and hope to have most of the hydraulics running. Got about 40 gallons in it now. Prolly gonna take another 50 at least. Now I just have to remember to take my camera with me next time.

Re: Boom/crane truck
I have been using my Bees Wax with my scroll saw, and man does it make a difference. I wished I would have remembered this from the beginning. Thanks FGD, keep up the great work!!!

Re: Boom/crane truck
Thats an awesome boom truck Freddy! It seems to have no problem at all yanking that weight around. I'd be interested in seeing what it can do with the boom sucked in and raised all the way, once you get the hydrauilics installed, thats where you get your max chart.

Re: Boom/crane truck
