Re: optimus prime transformers
Looks like you did a fantastic job on the rear fenders blending the tail lights.:) If you give Ric a call, he might be able to help you out. But it may be a few days until you can get hold of him...he's probably still getting situated after the Indy show.;):)

Re: optimus prime transformers
Dwayne...the perfect brackets are are the j brackets on pmd's single rounds ..you can take the single round off there then drill through the bottom of the bracket and into your double rounds and a little screw will work perfect..that's what I did on my roll off..I used the lights off the roll bar on the f350 high lift to give it the bigger headlight look like from a 32 ford :D..it's a shame to take singles off but they are perfect...:D

Re: optimus prime transformers
the problem sometimes with bondo ...guys it can eat or screw up the plastic ! i like to use a two part "epoxy sculpt" you just mix equal parts of the putty together smear it on...and it even can be fine smoothed with water ! once it dries to a super rock hard finish...you can sand it out to what you want. It never shrinks or hurts the plastic your working with ! once you try it and see how it works...you will never use anything else ! Also that green putty can bleed through your paint and you will have a dark shadow there all the time !
|
Re: optimus prime transformers
where can you get this stuff from:).i did use the green crap until some members here informed me about the shrinkage:mad: so i sanded about 95% of it off ,i didn't use that much anyway.how long does it take to dry?
