I finished up the front panel and made the mounts for the tarp mechanism today. I also made up the rest of the mud flaps and mounted the forward ones to the underside of the tub.

Re: Vertical Ribbed Dump Trailer

Well that's too bad. It sounds like you want it so I guess I can't keep it.:(

I have to agree that it has turned out very nice. Really it just comes down to the fact that more time has been spent on it than what I'm normally asked to do. Adding details like the machined front corners, ladders and tarp mounting brackets, then attaching parts with 0-80 bolts sucked up the hours but I think it necessary to make it look how you wanted it. Now you will have a one of a kind hand made piece to add to your growing collection! Well, time to go eat and get out to the shop. I have a few more things to do before it gets torn apart for the rails to be coated.

Not that Boy he is real and stand with both feet on the ground.
The work he does is for sure worth every penny.

Re: Vertical Ribbed Dump Trailer

That's the problem with this hand made stuff. The time adds up quick sometimes with not a lot of major changes to the appearance. With a trailer like this there is a lot of time invested fitting parts and getting things looking right. If I charged a fair rate(for myself) by the hour for all the time I spend they would be REALLY expensive there is no doubt. It's just a good thing that I like all of you guys so much and don't charge as much as I should.;)

Without a doubt this trailer will never leave my possession. Truly a beautiful piece of Canadian craftsmanship and engineering. I'm sure this dumper will bring many smiles and countless hours of playing in the dirt! :D
