Spreading some of the left over materials. Laying slate for a walkway out to garage so the screenings will be wasted as bedding. Lights on dozer really are useful.

http://i1357.photobucket.com/albums/...psdmfxuhsi.jpg

He has been sad, keeps looking around for the wolfhound, we had to put ira, the Irish wolfhound down last Monday. All good, well it’s tough but he was over ten years old and well I can’t let it get to me as he was very healthy up until recently, just his time.

And finally done with 6015 track pads and track pins

Great to see you doing well Cooper & finally getting your barn project underway, looks like a great setup for rainy days, will it be operational in winter months too?

Sorry to hear about beloved pet.

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

I’m thinking it’s going to be a 3 season area for now. Eventually some more work to the barn basement in regards to heating. Plans are to get it to where it stays above freezing during the winter. But I will be stockpiling dirt and materials to stay dry and useable during some warmer winter days.

I love the paver project. Think how many more 1/14 man hours it would have taken doing that by hand!

Sorry to hear about the pup, that always sucks

Basement is going to be really cool.

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

Sorry to read about the pup. Your RC playground is looking great. With a few more man hours you'll have a spot that'll offer hours of RC trucking & construction FUN!

keeping with my skattered minds comprehensions, i will keep the thread of this and that going. some pics of the new version of a 785d haul truck that is also going to be a variation of , haul truck, tow-haul truck and a water tanker truck. i know i was building a 6015b excavator but some fabrication tools needed, (a fourth axis for the mill) guided me into another direction while i save some funds for that.

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

Really glad to see you back, I've always enjoyed watching your builds. Looks like you have been busy though. Besides the case, did you also make the parts for the differentials?

Cooper 10-13-2020 07:05 PM

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

No the differentials are harvested from a 1:5 scale gas buggy. 3:1 on the diff with 10k diff oil. The drive train is a 1:5 scale sensored brushless motor bolted to a 4:1,4:1,3:1 planetary gearbox (1/2” shaft) heading to the rear with the 3:1 diff.

I have never had any trouble posting picture since I started posting years ago on the old Garden Trucker site by using Imageshak
I pay a small fee once a year. My photos show up on sites that you need to be logged into as well.
