Awesome Keith. Are you thinking of putting a softer cutting edge on it? I was looking around at stuff I had but wasn't sure if I should stick anything on there for you?

Thanks Reg, I may put a brass strip on the bottom of it. I'll wait till it shows up and I get the frame fit to it. Definitely going to add two feet / shoes to it.

Thanks, the rears are locked on the DM so hopefully it will push OK.

Hi Keith,

Congratulations on one of the most awesome trucks that I've seen on this forum.

I've been a fan of the DM800 since 1970 when I was 10 years old. I built 2 1/25th scale MPC DM800/Rexnord cement mixers. The ones that came in the box with the stars and stripes paint job on the cover.

I'm curious about the cab that you used for this build. Is it a Truescale Mack Superliner with the center windshield post cut out? BTW, that dump box from Reg is freakin' amazing, and your tarp is the icing on the cake. And the passenger side mirror is also a work of art!

Thanks so much for the compliment, I bought one of the cement mixers to use as a guide for measurements on the hood. There a pretty cool kit, I'm just not into building the 1/24th scale stuff. The cab was from shapeways, it's one of Gooses cabs, thanks again.

Beautiful build and custom in every way. Not only one of the best Mack builds I have seen but also one of the top dump truck builds. Love the heavy look and it don't get much heavier than that.

Thanks, appreciate the comments. My favorite build as well.

Keith I noticed you started off with one of those printed, frosted windshields and ended up with a beautiful clear one. Did you make the clear one yourself? With the curves of the cab that must have been difficult? Or did you do something to the frosted on to get it to a clear state? Having this dilemma with my printed Peterbilt cab. Thank you.
