Re: 140H Grader
Hey Joe, its good to hear from ya. I am working on the cab and interior....today, I painted the inside with the sand tone, tomorrow I will prime and paint the outside. I made the windows and got them on the dorrs today. If the weather holds as far as temp. and low humidity, this should all be done by the wknd.

Re: 140H Grader
This looks really wonderful!
The care you took in the appearance of the circle gearbox and the lattice(?) work on the back of the moldboard-carrier - sweet! How strong is the circle rotation? |
Re: 140H Grader
90% complete....I still have several pieces to make and add some lights. Finish detailing the cab interior, add details to the control column and make arms rest for the seat.

Re: 140H Grader
Rob, You have truely outdone yourself this time! Except for the wood beams in the engine compartment, there is no way a persone would or could know that it is made from wood. This tops your sprayer and your cotton bale truck combined!! :D Now I just need to see it in person!

Re: 140H Grader
Truly a museum masterpiece. But you've taken the next step and made it operate as well. What have you got on your plate to top this one.

Re: 140H Grader
Wonderful :)
Had seen the video before (or one like it?) but not the details of the cab. IMO that level of detail just puts this over the top (in a good way)! |
Re: 140H Grader
Awesome :D
It's very good looking, and it seems to operate very well. |
Re: 140H Grader
:) What a great model - looks, operation, detail - all just awesome. I'd never believe it started life as a tree! Wood is such an unexpected medium for a working machine, but when done so well, who'd a thunk it!
Kudos for such a wonderful project! Ken |
