Re: Volvo A40F
Hi Ari,
Are you using the M-5H-4 2.5/4 size fitting from SMC or the M3 one's. I am starting my hydraulic system and decided to make my own pump because I am in the US and don't have many options for hydraulics or manufacturers of the micro size products like Germany and France, Plus I like a challenge. I have made my CAD design and want to start soon but was wondering if you could share some pictures from your models on how the pump and motors mount together. I would be happy to message you my drawing if you wanted to take a peak. Any pointers would be much appreciated coming from you. Thank you, Jeremy |

the Volvo's dump cylinders have M5 fittings and the steering cylinders have M3 one's. The Volvo have a direct drive pump with planetary gear, but I haven't took it a part, so I don't know exactly how it's put together. My Cat 374 has toothed belt drive. I'd love to see your design. https://i327.photobucket.com/albums/...psxiydchpn.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...pslxiomhiu.jpg |
Re: Volvo A40F
The inline from Kampshoff Hydraulics is a planetary reduction @4.5 ratio

Re: Volvo A40F
For a long time I did something for this. I draw a new bonnet for 3d printing. It's just printing. Printing time 32 hrs, now at 23 hrs.

Do you get paid by the hour? ;) Yet another awesome build.

Re: Volvo A40F
What slicer are you using? I don't think I've seen support structure like that before. Looks like it would be much easier and cleaner to remove. Great work as always.
