My new 4 x 4...
Hello together!
A few months ago I got me a new BLOCHER-chassis. It is the 4x4x4 trac kit. Here are some pictures from the assembly...: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/file...0h-kk-5f2c.jpg Front axle: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/file...0h-kl-aba3.jpg Rear axle with steering servo and servo for the 3 pt. hitch: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/file...0h-kn-0841.jpg Complete chassis before painting: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/file...0h-kf-8df7.jpg |

Four speed controllers...:

Re: My new 4 x 4...
No doupt about it: It has it´s price, but the kit has a A++ quality. Each wheel has a brushless motor and a three step planetary transmission with a ratio of 71:1. Therefore you need these 4 speed controllers...
With a 2s LiPo it runs fase enough, Maybe for tilling a field even too fast. Though it runs fast, it has a very high torque at each wheel. Veeeeery poweful! Here´s some information from the manufacturer: http://mfz-blocher.de/allradtrac.html I chose the BRUDER Xerion 5000 body, because the chassis was made for these dimensio0ns. But it will also fit to a http://www.tractordata.com/farm-trac...case-4994.html I think. ......the wheelbase does not fit exactly to this tractor. Regarding that it has no fenders I guess it will work... |
Re: My new 4 x 4...
This one my fit to the cassis too:

Re: My new 4 x 4...
Wow Frank! That's a really great kit. I've always looked at these models with great interest. The fact that they are all over seas purchases keeps me from buying, but they are cool. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of this kit, and to see some videos of it. Can't wait to see how it pulls!

Looks great!
Those square motors look interesting, any information or link you have about them? |
Re: My new 4 x 4...
Where do you buy the Blocher chassis? Directly from MFZ Blocher?
|
Re: My new 4 x 4...
Yes, I bouht it direct from MFZ-Blocher.
@Madda: Haven´t information about the motors yet...the model is in my friends workshop at the moment. |
Re: My new 4 x 4...

Can't wait to see a vid! :) Thanks |
Re: My new 4 x 4...
The tires are delivered together with the kit including aluminum rims.
This should be the installed poweplant: http://www.robbe.de/roxxy-bl-outrunner-2214-25.html Gear ratio 71:1 with a 2 cell LiPo... |
Re: My new 4 x 4...
Frank, that is a very nice tractor.....can't wait to see it in action. Wish I had that setup.

Re: My new 4 x 4...
so you can't get just the wheels and tires? I'm trying to navigate that site with my phone :/
very nice build. we need a north american supplier of this kind of stuff...... |
Re: My new 4 x 4...
You may contact Andreas Blocher and ask if the tires are available...
But you may also find some with nearly teh same dimensions in the U.S.....at Dakotah toys in SD. The "Trelleborgs" have nearly the same diameter. |
