Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
Xllnt details Emil.
I suppose with your abilities to mix hyd functions with pump rotation that using this 7.2v Tamiya motor works quite well & never runs too fast? Everybody in your norwegian group run Servonaut esc's? Is it the Servonaut electronics or 2.4 radio systems or both that eliminate glitch all together? I need to do some upgrading with my electronic systems in my constr equip. |

My pumpmotor is limited to about 50%. It's only running when I'm using the lift- or tipfuctions. This way I save alot of power and increase the lifetime of the system. I'm using a 5000mAh 11,1V LiPo battry btw. The radio is a Futaba 10C. |
Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
That's quite a big radio for this 4 or 5 function model, is it b/c the lesser channel radios do not offer the same mixing capabilities for hydraulic operation?
5000mAh, what's an estimated run time for the model if you were working it steady? |
Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
It offers all the mixing etc I could ever want.
My setup is like this: 1 Lift 2 Tilt 3 Forward/ reverse 4 Steering 5 Lights 6 Sound 7 Pump ESC Still have spare channels for more accessories :) I guess I can run for about 3 hours using lights and sound all the time. |
Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
From time to time I've had trouble with sand in the sprockets (literally). It's time to do some further modifications :yikes:
Before the mod. The sand at Jessheim is very sticky when "wet". In the future I'll be even better at spraying the sprockets and belts with teflonspray before playing. Teflonspary is very effective to prevent sand from sticking to metal. :nice: http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr18.jpg Steady hands :IKillMySelf: Milled from both sides. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr19.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr20.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr21.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr22.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr23.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr24.jpg More pictures from a previous mod. The front wheels kept falling off the metal piece attaching it to the undercarriage. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr25.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr26.jpg One improvement often reveals another weakness  To prevent the wheel from falling off the axle, I attached a washer to the axle. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr28.jpg Bushing on the pendulum shaft http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr29.jpg Closeup of the undercarriage. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...liebherr27.jpg |

Nice loader, truck & trailer.:)
Thanks for the video. Please continue to make more vids. |
Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
Very nice! I always like seeing photos of these machines. They are such neat models, but we rarely get a view of the internal workings of them. You are a member on Scale 4x4, right? I have spent many hours viewing all of your club's photos there. You guys have a very cool playground for your models. Much like a model railroad club, but for scale RC trucks and construction equipment!

Re: Stahl Liebherr LR632
Yes, I also post at scale4x4, since not everybody is a member on both forums.
Thanks for all the nice comments! |
