Tractor w/silage plow,(Cowboys first Freddybuilt)
Musta done something right when I built my tractors, good enough so that ole-Paul asked little-o-Me to build him a 4x4 tractor.
Just happened to have one on hand. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics786.jpg He also asked if I could build one of these for the front of the tractor. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics788.jpg So first cut out the plow plow frame & blade. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics772.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics773.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics774.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics775.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics776.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics777.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics778.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics782.jpg Paul asked me to do him up a Steiger. (He just loves Ford tractors:rolleyes:)That's why I didn't mention the make of the tractor in the title. So here is a pic of the blade in front of the real soon to be Paul's r/c silage pushin tractor. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics787.jpg Thanks for lookin! FGD |

Re: Tractor w/silage plow,(Cowboys first Freddybuilt)
I'm likin' this guys! Seeing more and more ag stuff is neat. And a setup like this will be a great addition to the meets when it comes to organizing and reshaping the rubber piles!:)

Looks really good.
Ken Yantiss make a great Degelman blade that hooks to the Steiger. http://klytoys.weebly.com/ |

Maybe not made for an RC but junk, I don't think so.

Re: Tractor w/silage plow,(Cowboys first Freddybuilt)
Wow that blade us pretty nice. the detail is great! I can see how it may be to fragile for RC applications.

FreddyGearDrive what are the tires and wheels you are using on the Ford in this thread? I did not see them in your other builds.

YEE-HA! Now don't be gittin them panti's in a twist. Good work takes time!
I don't understand how this motor can be a 7 turn?? Cause it don't turn none to fast, wide open.I just might have to get me one of these! Here you go,Progress!:D http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics844.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics843.jpg Well Paul, kinda looks like this is going to be the steering servo. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics845.jpg I can't get the other one to work! Plus this baby will break the tractor in half, before it doesn't turn. Thanks for lookin! FGD |
Re: Tractor w/silage plow,(Cowboys first Freddybuilt)
I told you that you would like that motor! And that servo is 333oz she has some snort but that other 645 was brand new so i not sure why it would not work did you try it somewhere else?? Looking good too cant wait..

Steering. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics846.jpg Gotta have a way to lift the plow. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics850.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics851.jpg Then had to Freddie the rims. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics853.jpg Now she's starten to look ready for action. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics854.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics855.jpg Now a nice cuttin edge on the blade. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics849.jpg Hows that so far Pauly? Thanks for lookin! FGD |

Yea Paul, this baby is real strong! Might of gone a tad overkill on the frameing. But better than having it fold up under the tractor when your into some real pushin! So...here's some pics & a vid of my progress. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics857.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics859.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics861.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics862.jpg This short vid shows the liftin power this baby has.Don't need a jack to change the front tires. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...uckPics860.jpg Might put a little faster motor in it,she could be a tad faster on the up & down. But if it's to fast,it really makes it hard to control a smooth grade. Maybe, give her a test outside before I change anything. Thanks for lookin! FGD |
Re: Tractor w/silage plow,(Cowboys first Freddybuilt)
Looks pretty stout there Freddy! What kind of servo is that?
