Stahl dozer ?

Since the manual is worthless for the dozer how do those of you who have one hold the cab on?

Re: Stahl dozer ?

Well thanks for the help. I was asking to see if maybe I was missing some thing or if someone actually knew how the were to be attached. Heck I could just use Velcro if it comes down to it.

the cab is hinged on my Stahl tracked loader, at the start of the video I lift the front of the cab and turn the loader on

Ya my track loader is the same way and the way it is made the cab and engine enclosure fit snug and hold the cab on no problem.

Problem is the dozer cab just sits there on top of the floor pan and fenders. There is nothing to stop it from going front to back or side to side.

Travis,

I looked at http://www.rc-baustelle.de/attachmen...achmentid=4799

and I think there is meant to be a riser from the fuel tank, which is used to pin the back to the cab to the body...

Re: Stahl dozer ?

Travis,

the cab is held on by a hinge at the rear. I took dad's apart before to get the receiver out. If you want, text me and I'll give you his number, you can give him a ring tomorrow if needed.

Rod do you think it would be possible to get me a pic of how it hinges?

Thanks

Re: Stahl dozer ?

My dozer is a decade old, but it might be still the same mounting.

Re: Stahl dozer ?

Thanks Joe I received similar pics from Rod and I am missing the hing that mounts to the dozer. But this does explain why the cab is notched by the bottom screws. Well I am now off to the garage to see if I can make one.

Re: Stahl dozer ?

Thanks Rod :p:D I use those old trays a lot. They definitely help on containing messes and keeping track of parts while your working not to mention they are a lot easier on the fingers when you move the dozer around. Nobody has noticed I use an old lazy susan as well, it works good for when you need to keep going from one side to the other.
