Re: ZIS-150
The bed you made is a work of art - much nicer than the stock all-styrene one. What is the gearbox/motor you are using? I was worried that there is so little room for one, but yours looks like a very compact unit.
|
Re: ZIS-150
There is very little room indeed, had to chop a lot of meet to fit in the Axial gear minus the cover, the rx and esc went under the seat.

Re: ZIS-150
Thank you. That info helps a lot! I will go find a similar gearbox and use your photos as a pattern.

Re: ZIS-150
Cabin is plastic, you can find it on ebay, just punch ZIS 150. Made by Kingkong rc. Сделано на Тайване, прекрасное качество.

Re: ZIS-150
I live in Russia in the city of Sochi. We have a museum of old cars. There is a truck "ZIS-150" ("ZIL-150" - "ЗИС-150" - "ЗИЛ-150") in the museum.
"ZIS-150 (since June 26, 1956 - ZIL-150) is a Soviet truck produced in the period from 1947 to 1957. In 1957 it was replaced by the ZIL-164 model, which in fact was a modernized ZIS-150. It was released 771 883 copies of all modifications." http://s11.radikal.ru/i183/1709/67/a1c8f13818fd.jpg |

Soviet russian truck "ZIS-150" ("ЗИС-150", "ЗИЛ-150", "ZIL-150") - this is a Аmerican copy of the truck "International КР-11".
The photo below shows an American truck "International КР-11". "International KR-11" - an American truck, supplied to the Soviet Union under the state program "Lend-Lease" until 1945. http://s018.radikal.ru/i519/1709/93/b3370bc53e88.jpg |
