Good to read you again Greg. :)

Glad to see you found the forum Greg and welcome aboard.

Re: RCLogger
Thanks guys , glad you like the construction zone.
Joe you are right as the construction area is growing all the time, it is twice the size since you were here. LoL The wife has figured out that the lawn is slowly disappearing. Attached is a photo of the construction equipment I have made. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...02/greg003.jpg |
Re: RCLogger
What a nice collection Greg, you should be proud of them.

Re: RCLogger
What, no 1/14th grass mowing equipment? Maybe could add a tub-grinder to get rid of all the waste tree parts and stumps. It's really cool to see the machines you have working. Must have a very understanding wife...

Re: RCLogger
Great collection of equipment you have there Greg. I have followed most of your builds before and they were always great to follow. Have fun with Lou and his new CAT 966. As for your lawn, well I'd say it should consider itself lucky for now that you haven't taken over the whole yard. I have a feeling I will have a whole construction operation going at my future backyard. Thanks for sharing those pictures.

Re: RCLogger
Great setup and equipment, I really do need to find the time to come over and check things out, if nothing else to see how much space and plumbing is involved with the hydraulics so I can plan the layout in my ladder truck.

Re: RCLogger
Here is a video of the bridge work I did the other day, hope you like it..

Re: RCLogger
I've got an Eflite Hughs 500 coax that has lots of lift. I'll have to put a hook on it and try lifting some dowels to see how much it'll pick up. That might be something different flying the logs into the dry land sort.

Re: RCLogger
greg i lost all my book marks what was the name of the place that you got your cylinders from thanks

Depending on the length and size I am looking for and also the stroke http://www.mcmaster.com/# http://clippard.com/ I use the air cylinders they sell, I must say they work just fine and I have never replaced any due to oil leaks... I do prefer the Mcmaster-Carr as the die is smaller so it has less oil in the cylinder (volume ), which inturn makes the cylinder move faster..;) greg |
Re: RCLogger
thanks man

Hey Jason
We will have to get together, Lou and I could use another operator when we have all our iron up and running. We will also be able to put your truck to work.. What iron do you operate at work ? greg |

Re: RCLogger
I had some equipment out working today, had some fall clean up to do. The tomatoes are done for this season and it was time to clean up the plants..
Not sure if the cylinders on the hoe are starting to leak because it was cooler outside or just to much wear and tare.. Had to punch in a road to the back of the yard. You can see the plants in the back of the photo. I used the thumb on the hoe to pile up plants. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...02/oct2001.jpg |
