Help with tire search
Hey guys, I need some help locating some tires if they even exist. The real ones are approx 60" tall and 28" wide. I'm looking for them in 1/16 scale. I have my doubts that there are any available that look exactly like this but I thought I should ask around.

Re: Help with tire search
RC machines use to have something like that . They since trimmed down what they're offering .

Re: Help with tire search
Hi Reg,
These things are apparently known as "paddle" tyres/tires prefixed either by sand or snow depending on where you are. Tamiya make them for the sand scorcher and various others make similar but whether you'll be able to find the actual size and tread pattern I don't know  I did my usual rounds and ended up as ever on Aliexpress Clickety click Just trying to help Mike |
Re: Help with tire search
That tread pattern may be hard to find. You may have to fudge it a bit and use a tamiya tire such as this?

Re: Help with tire search
I am thinking that will be the only option also. These things will need to look as real as possible if I make them but all of us in the hobby know that some things just aren't available and custom making them sends the budget through the roof. Thanks for the help boys!

Re: Help with tire search
Update
The original tyre you show is a Goodyear Muck Master made by Titan Clickety click According to the data sheet and scaling down you need a tyre approximately 99mm diameter and 47mm wide The only thing I can find very roughly about that size with a similar tread pattern is a Lego 32298 which is approximately 107 diameter x 62mm wide Clickety click. I'm sure a man of your capabilities will find a wheel to modify aesthetically to match your final model. Lego do this to match Clickety click A little over sized but it's the best I can do with that tread pattern or the closest match I can find Just trying to help |

Re: Help with tire search
I picked these out for the profile and size even though the tread patterns different. The Trelleborg's on the web site that Bo posted above are the closest I've seen to the pattern your looking for.
