Peterbilt#2
This will be a slower build for me this time!
In this pic you can see the axle moved forward. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02014.jpg One of the possible rear fender styles. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02021.jpg A little mock up. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02026.jpg The frame won't be as long on this one.It will have fat fenders:eek: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02027.jpg I have fat pipes to put on,and need to polish steps and I have different tanks. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02028.jpg I have a lot of plastic to cut, shape, and mold. This just the start. Thanks for looking! |
Re: Peterbilt#2

Re: Peterbilt#2
would you believe they're machined by hand  sorry just had to pat myself on the back :p looks great ,Troy :) are those the std tam tire or low pro ?

Re: Peterbilt#2
Looks awesome already, and you are just getting started. I like the first fenders you pictured better then the second set. I guess I have thing for single round fenders over the rear drivers. I really like the look you have going. Gonna be another sharp rig for sure. Very nice.

Re: Peterbilt#2
Wow, nice work!
How did you form the possible rear and front fenders, and are they metal or styrene? |
Re: Peterbilt#2

I got them from loose-cannon on another forum. |

The pipe caps came from Ace Hardware, you just have to find the right diameter for your tires.;) http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02029.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02030.jpg |

Re: Peterbilt#2
I don't believe it Troy! You're already building another pete and I'm not anywhere near finishing my first one! Is this a rebuild of your black one or another one to go alongside it in the fleet?

Here are a few more mock up pics!
I cut my roof to modify it so it will look like a pete. The sleeper will be a high-top unibilt. I am scared to death cutting up this body:eek:. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02035.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02034.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...5/DSC02033.jpg I will try to make the fenders look like real pete. fenders:confused:. |

Re: Peterbilt#2
Low Pro tires? I completely missed that! I thought the rear fenders, with the way they hug the wheels, were fooling me into thinking the rear tires looked different. Now I see!
Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve! |
Re: Peterbilt#2
Looks like your on your way to another killer looking ride Troy. Pretty cool to see so many members hand crafted parts all together on one truck.
