User Avatars?
 

Hello guys, I know this got talked about somewheres on here and not sure what ever came of it. It is not a huge deal but what ever happened with the avatar issue for non moderators? I see most of the mod's/admins have avatars but in the User CP panel, still cannot upload mine. I am sure you guys still have loads on your plate but was just curious if anything was figured out.

To add an avatar go to your user cp and click on edit avatar and use uploade a pic from your computer IT IS THE BOTOM BOX ON THE AVATAR SCREEN just click browse and make shure to resize it to the 80x80 once you pick a pic then hit open and it will take you back to the uploade avatar page and click save and you should then have an avatar. If you dont resize it and it is to big we will remove it and let you try again.

Haha I gotta say, I am diggin it! I feel guilty ya went out of your way and did that. I guess my reading comprehension or attention span fell short somewhere and missed that thread about the avatars. Thanks though!

Mine says option 2 but it is the 2nd option of loading a pic. You will be uploading it from you computer.here is what you should see

Your Current Avatar Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
Custom Avatar
If you have a custom avatar and want to keep it as it is, leave the fields below as they are.

Use Custom Avatar

You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website

Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

All I have is do not use avatar dotted and no options to browse or enter a URL.
I'm not too worried about one, but it would be nice to change on a whim vs a request.
It looks to be just a disabled avatar setting for the group, whichever group we're in.

I see I have an Avatar now. Not sure who is responsible?
But, I think I will keep it for now. That is until some born and bread Texan gets upset with this Yankee transplant and calls me out. My mother in-law bought me a bumber sticker when we first moved. It read. "I was not born in Texas But I got here as fast as I could"

We are still working on getting things to work some are not as easy as just clicking a button so till we get it fixed we will be happy to help put up an avatar.

Not sure where the animated avatars are from, but I remember a guy on Scale 4x4 who made a ton of them.

On that note, avatars can be uploaded now, I see. And signature pics! Sweet. :D

Thanks Claus. Wish it could be bigger, so the details would really pop out, but this is about as big as the forum allows. Drew it myself with Microsoft Paint. Took a few hours.

Ben for some reason the animated one wont load for a user but I can get them loaded just let me know what you want and I will try to take care of it for you. You can use option 2 and uplaod a pic but that is all that works for registered users right now.
