Stub nose Orange Crate
Working on my stub nose, I call it the Orange Crate. Still working on exhaust. And a few other minor things.

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
As Aaron said, that is definitely a different style thank I've ever seen but I really like the creativity. It fits the lines well and looks like it could be operational.
Cant wait to see some more pics with all the accessories added to it. Tyler |

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
Very unique and it works :D. I like it. Great idea. I assume the stacks are going behind the sleeper? It has an old truck look to it, maybe only one stack and a air cleaner pipe combo?

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
That is one sweet bull nose.....it almost looks like a bullnose kw. I like it, its has a very old school look.

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
Stack mounted along with the air breather, just need mirrors, fifth wheel, shaft and electronics.

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
Looks good with the single stack. Have you considered a pipe and maybe snorkel for the air cleaner?

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
That's a keeper! I've always enjoyed seeing builds of lesser known trucks. This definitely fits the list, and you did a great job.

Re: Stub nose Orange Crate
Ok, so I did a little more on it tonight. I should have paid a little more attention to the wheel base because a stock King Hauler drive shaft was 3/8" to short, so instead of a custom shaft I lengthened the front shaft carrier.

Then I made a fifth shell release lever. Then I got my diamond plate for the fender tops, cut to fit but not installed until there painted. I'm thinking either silver or orange to match the truck, not sure yet. Installed the mirrors and side glass.
